How to import presets into Google Nik Collection

What is Nik-Collection?

The Nik-collection is legendary. It's my favorite toolset to do the postprocessing of my photos, because it gives me the full control of the look of the picture without creating masks within e.g. photoshop. Of course I know how to work with masks, but NIK makes it much easier and quicker than any other software I know. In the past Nik-Collection was expensive, but worth every $ or €. Some time ago NIK was bought by Google and now Nik is for free (Find more info and download it here). I fear this was the end of new development :-(

Nik collection consists of several modules:

Analog Efex Pro
Color Efex Pro
Silver Efex Pro
Viveza
HDR Efex Pro
Sharpener Pro
Define

There are some recipes (presets) out in the deep of the internet, you can download and import into your NIK-collection. This step-by-step-guides explain how to do it for each module of Nik Collection, where you can have presets:

How to import presets into Analog Efex Pro 2

Click on th "+"-button on the  "imported" section:

Select the recipe-files (crtrl + "a" selects all files) and press the "OK"-button:

How to import presets into Color Efex 4

Click on "Recipes"  to see all the default recipes (presets):

Press the back button to see the different recipes sections:

Click on "Import" to specify the files to be imported:

Mark the files to be imported (press "ctrl + A", if you want to import all files of the folder) and click on "OK":

After the successfull import, the new recipes are stored in the "Imported" section:

How to import presets into Silver Efex Pro 2

Click on th "+"-button in the "imported" section:

Select the recipe-files (crtrl + "a" selects all files) and press the "OK"-button:
